Weekend Highlights:
Quick Recap: Both Sting Black and Sting Royal had teams competing in the Texas Cup last weekend.
In RL play, Sting Black G11s defeated FC Dallas 2-0 on Saturday before drawing Sting Austin in the finals. The Sting Black G13s fell to FC Dallas 7-2 on Saturday before also finishing 0-0 against Solar SC on Sunday.
On the Royal side, Sting Royal G09s lost 2-0 to DKSC on Saturday and 6-3 to Solar SC on Sunday.
In NL play, Sting Black G09s and Sting Black G13s fell to Solar SC on Saturday, but both teams rebounded on Sunday, with both teams winning 3-1. The Sting Black 09s ousted the Colorado Rapids while the G13s bested Real Colorado National.
For Royal, both Sting Royal G12 and Sting Royal G13 picked up wins over Real Colorado National on Saturday but Sting Royal G08/07 was downed by the Colorado Rush, 2-1. On Sunday, the 08/07s rebounded, beating DKSC 3-0, but the G12s and G13s were both defeated by Solar SC.
