Competing in the 2026 Outlaw Cup in Grapevine, Texas, last weekend, Sting Black ECNL RL G13 Asher went an impressive 4 – 0 to win their bracket. Their bracket featured six teams, five of whom were from Sting. The final team in the bracket was from Solar SC, and they finished last in the bracket behind all five Sting teams. Coach Asher also led the Sting Pre-ECNL G14 Asher team to victory in their bracket, defeating Sting WTX G14 Jimenez in the finals.

 

Sting Pre-ECNL G14 Lomax made the finals in their bracket at The Elite Cup in Austin, Texas, falling to Sting Austin STXCL WC G14 Pistorius, 3 – 1. At the same tournament, Sting G17 Blencoe overwhelmed their opponents, 46 – 1, to win their bracket with a 5 – 0 record.

 

Last weekend, Sting North Texas also had two boys’, and three girls’ teams travel to Henderson, Nevada, and Las Vegas, Nevada, for the Vegas Cup from Friday, January 16, through Monday, January 19. Shoutout to Sting Royal ECNL RL NTX G13 Oliver Brave who were almost flawless on the weekend, going 6 – 0 to win their bracket and outscoring opponents 20 – 2. Sting Black ECNL RL NTX G12 Hart also had a strong showing, winning their Semi-Finals in penalties before finally being bested in the Finals and finishing second in their bracket.
